Regional Sales Manager

At ASM we build best-in-class products for health care administration and quality assurance. We use the latest technology to provide products to over 1,500 health care organizations worldwide. Founded in 1982 we have developed a great team to build and support great products.

What would I do at ASM?

You would be responsible for prospecting, developing relationships and sharing our solutions with potential customers.  A huge part of this position is performing both online and onsite demonstrations of our software.  You will provide live, exciting and informative demonstrations of our software; we do not just show a PowerPoint deck.  You will need to learn our software and our industry to really be effective at this position. At ASM we believe that face-to-face interactions are extremely beneficial, therefore this position may require up to 75% travel.  Compensation includes a base salary plus commission.  

Who is the ideal candidate? 

An ideal candidate is someone who is technical, bright and has a consultative sales approach.  The right solution and a happy customer is more important than a fat contract.  It is also important that you are energetic and aren't afraid of working hard.    

Responsibilities

  • Provide live demonstrations of our software solutions to prospective and existing customers
  • Cultivate new and existing relationships with clients
  • Negotiate and close contracts
  • Continuously develop your product and industry knowledge
  • Travel to new or existing customers to demo our software or strengthen relationships.
  • Respond to written RFPs
  • Contribute to the overall success of the sales team and the company.

Required Experience

  • BA/BS in related area or relevant work experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SalesForce (or other CRM)
